It was convenient because a Mp3 file used to take less size keeping the audio track's quality intact. Then why is it shutting down? The creator of the legendary format, Fraunhofer IIS, has confirmed the sad news. So is there anything to worry about? Actually no. Popular media players will keep playing the format and already better formats has taken the market. Less size, better quality. So keep enjoying music.
Dear Android Developers, here's a new programming language for you to learn
Kotlin is a super new programming language built by Jet Brains. Kotlin is a language that runs on the JVM (Java Virtual Machine), and it's already possible to use Kotlin and many other JVM languages for Android development. The funda of the language is cleaner and straight-forward as claimed by developers. Though we at RedElegant didn't get much time to test it but it sounds promising. Kotlin tools will be included with Android Studio 3.0 by default.

You do Clickbait on facebook ? Your days are over
Facebook is taking an active stand against posts having clickbaits. How will it determine it? Well as per facebook engineers their web scrappers will actively look for content inside the link posted on facebook and if they find dissimilarity in content and title for facebook, they will rank it down so that it's reach will be less. As Mark Zuckerberg personally posted on his timeline that he wants facebook a lot cleaner as lots of fake news create tension among people, here is the technology coming to make it reality. So we can now expect news from facebook much more trustworthy.
And last of all. the news which grabs eyeball of all the governments in the world...
Ransomware
As reported by several news agencies at least 2 million computers were compromised during a massive malware attack on mostly Windows PCs running Windows XP- Windows 8. This was the biggest cyber attack ever reported as this malware freezes the computer, shows a dialog that it encrypted all your files and to decrypt you need to pay $300. People found it a speeding ticket but it's a good amount and there is less chance that their files will be decrypted. Governements, Microsoft and several Anti-virus companies around the world took it actively and tried to control the situation by spreading anti-panicking news, patch, updates etc. Lots of security agencies made big bucks and now 'Wannacry decryptor' hit the market. Undoubtedly we just saw a live version of popular american TV-series 'Mr. Robot'. To avoid the further hacking, keep your Windows PC updated, never open a mail claiming you are winning lottery or any business proposal. Do not download any attachment which is not from a trusted source or you were likely to receive. Who knows you can be the next target. Also keep your files safe in an external hard-drive.
